About the Academy
Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), popularly known as a drone, is the need of the hour. The industry is rapidly growing because of its extensive uses in both commercial and social areas.
The Academy dedicates itself to the service of the Nation and remains committed to imparting quality training to young aspirants. Our aim is to empower them to become competent, efficient and skilled RPAs that the industry globally can depend on and be proud of.
On completion of the course with the academy, the candidate will have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of drones, the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) rules and regulations to start and grow their career in the Drone industry.
I am Sajeesh Sathyadev, aerial cinematographer in Indian film industry worked above 70 films including Mani Ratnam sir's Ponniyin Selvan , Shankar sir's and Kamala Haasan movie Indian 2 and famous malayalam movie Pulimurugan. I was eligible and got approved for Remote Pilot Certificate from Telangana State Aviation Academy (TSAA). I am very grateful to Dinakar sir and other trainees for their assistance and support. The classes was so understanding and in the first 3 days they thought me the rules and regulations, assembling of drone and got a chance to practice in flight simulator. The rest two days was practical section. Total 5 days of class was successfully completed. Special thanks to Dinakar sir and Telangana State Aviation Academy and other trainees.
Being a Wedding Photographer more than 30 years came toTSAA to lean Drone Flying,It was great experience,Mainly impressed with all the team politeness & support,and theyProvide STANDARD TRAINING,there was friendly atmosphere in academy,I have gained more knowledge from trainers more than expected.I am very much impress with the AIRFIELD Training Staff ,and i got good flying experienceThanks TSAA Team.

Like most drone operator in our country, i had some flying experience but i had no clear idea about the law, the guidelines and the details of drone operation. Drone academy got a fantastic faculty with a very helpful mindset to guide you through the course and even after the course. From hands on experience to building drones to flying them, it was one fantastic journey. I would recommend it to everyone, be it newcomers or experienced, because this institute teaches every student with the same importance.After doing the pilot licence i am getting more serious work exposure and that feels fantastic.
This is a great institution for one to learn everything about drones.Including Rules and Regulations , their functioning and applications in various sectors and to sharpen their skills in drone flying and videography.
